Injection moulding, by its nature, generates plastic waste. This waste typically comes from non-essential elements like sprues and runners. When not managed correctly, this waste ends up in landfill where it can take centuries to decompose. This contributes to environmental damage and resource depletion.

We take this issue seriously and have made it a priority to work with manufacturers to identify ways of reducing waste at every stage of our production process.

Closing the Loop

We work with manufacturers that incorporate responsible recycling into all of their manufacturing processes.

  • Post-industrial plastic residue is broken down and reused in future production cycles.
  • Plastic components are melted into pellets, ready for reinjection.
  • Recycled materials are utilised for non-critical parts, without any loss of product integrity.

By taking these steps our suppliers have been able to significantly reduce their demand for raw materials, lower energy consumption, and contribute to a more circular economy.

Our sustainability strategy goes beyond just ensuring that our manufacturers are recycling their own materials. We're also committed to:
